what our wonderful colleagues have to say
Cheryl: Site Manager
I joined Applegreen in June 2017, and I haven't looked back since! I haven't had time to look back because I'm too busy watching
where my feet are taking me.
I've had in-depth training at various sites, travelled to Ireland to see our motorway sites,
opened a flagship site in Spaldwick (the first TRSA in the UK). How exciting was that! I've loved
being part of a new team at a great company who allow you to make decisions and also mistakes
- because that's how you learn and progress. At Applegreen, the management believe in their people.
Working for Applegreen, being supported by people who believed in me from day one, who've now
seen me grow as a person and a leader, has given me back the self-confidence I'd lost. It's a
big thing to have an organisation behind you who believe in you. I can honestly say that I look
forward to coming to work every day - I've never been so happy in a role as I am today, and that's
down to having people around me who are as passionate and committed to their roles as I am.
Ben: Site Manager
One of the great things about working for Applegreen is the culture. There is a very strong work ethic which is enhanced by being trusted to do a good job.
I am enjoying working for a growing company, developing my skills and growing with the business as the many opportunities arise.
Katherine: Brand Support Manager
Applegreen is by far the best place to work for numerous reasons, first and foremost, the culture of the organisation thrives
on valuing employees through recognition and bonus schemes.
Applegreen is a major petrol forecourt retailer in Ireland and is rapidly growing in the UK,
creating jobs nationwide. The company tries to promote from within the corporation before seeking
outside candidates. I am a prime example of this principle, I started my career at Applegreen
as a Costa Store Manager and now I've grown to be part of the food team in a brand support role.
It's great to work on a team with people from different cultures and generations because I learn
a lot from my co-workers.
Tell us you're interested in working for us and we'll let you know when a role you might be interested
in is available. You'll never miss an opportunity again.
